Hope

Life has been hard to say the least complicated. A lot of questions and ideas and views flying around that I cannot and will not agree on. I started writing this blog out just dedicated to my art but I realized this is all one in the same. The harsh reality is we all come from different backgrounds and points of view. That is ok. If I start trying to tell you how to think and what to think I am going too far. I will share my beliefs. I feel love is the answer no matter what they say.

Hope. Such a simple word, yet it carries so much weight. In times of uncertainty, hope is what keeps us moving forward, creating, believing that better days are ahead.
As an artist, I've learned that hope isn't passive - it's an active choice we make every day. It's picking up the brush even when you're not feeling inspired. It's starting a new project when the last one didn't turn out as planned. It's believing that your art matters, that your voice deserves to be heard.
This past year has tested all of us in ways we never imagined. But I've also witnessed incredible resilience and creativity. I've seen communities come together, people finding new ways to connect, and art serving as a bridge during isolation.
My art has always been about finding joy in the everyday, and hope is a big part of that. When I paint a home portrait, I'm not just capturing a building - I'm preserving memories, celebrating milestones, and creating something that will remind people of happy times.
Hope reminds us that even in darkness, there's always light. Even in chaos, there's beauty. And even when things feel impossible, there's always another blank canvas waiting for us to begin again.
Keep creating. Keep believing. Keep hoping.
